friends and enemies…

dog couch explodes

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Proverbs 27:6

i was woke up today at 3 am by th sound of tornado alarms in town…the alarm rang fa at least 45 minutes and then stopped…apparently th danger in indy is past…

when i see these weather extremes..tsunamis, tornadoes, devastating floods and such, to me its a symbol of th raging anger in man…as i was speakin to th Lord this morning during th alarm, He flooded me wit His peace–a peace that surpasses all understanding…and i know His grace is suffiecient fa me bc He said so…

th Lord keeps His body, gatherin us by His Spirit, casting out fears and other remnants of this world, and whatever flesh wounds we receive, He heals–immediately…and rises up in those broken places, which is our wholeness and completeness in Him…where th Spirit of th Lord is there is liberty…

bc of Christ, offense can be seen, not as an enemy, but as a friend–th wounds of a friend–bc it lays open a thang which needs to die, and th Spirit of God in us kills it and raises up Christ in its place…

discerning between friend and enemy is whats necesary…what we consider a friend and what Chrsit consders a friend are 2 different thangs…kisses of an enemy (friend to flesh), is deceitful; th wounds of a friend (enemy to flesh) is faithful…see? th Spirit of th Lord wars against th flesh–His wounds are faithful; th flesh wars against th Spirit–kisses 0f th flesh are deceitful…we have judas as an example of a kiss born of deceit and a wound Christ bore all the way to th cross…
