Jesus Christ–th repentance of God…

yellow white zigzag design

we speak against sin as th Lord gives us utterance…we speak –and loudly– against false doctrines, false gospels and false christs, which pervert th love of God into something sensual, earthy, and by its falseness, denies th power of God unto salvation…we hope always and with great expectation for th deliverance of our brethren from th snares of these false doctrines…and we know our hope isnt vain bc the Father gets all of His out and dont lose one…

Jesus Christ died on th cross–suffered and died at th hands of evil wicked men, yet no man took His life from Him, but He laid it down of His own volition, to take it up again, bc He could…by dying th death of th cross, Jesus Christ–th Lamb sent by God –is th perfect, unblemished, sinless ONE who paid fa th sin of th world…

in this fashion, God loved th world, that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life…

apart from the sacrifice of God that was provided by God and accepted by God–Jesus Christ–there is neither forgiveness NOR repentance fa sin…God has worked salvation by His onw Right Hand…Jesus Christ…and brought forgiveness, drawn us to Him, to face Christ who judges th living and th dead, and turn us away from adam–this is repentance …

to those who are perishing, its foolishness …but to us who are saved, it is th power of God unto salvation…

th power of God…

its God’s own power which saves…not animal sacrifice but His own sacrifice, th ram in th bush, th sacrifice that abraham saw when th Lord stopped him from sacrificing his son isaac…Jesus Christ, His life, death and resurrection, is th power of God, and whoever denies it, denies th power of God…

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:24

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:5

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20

in th OT was forgiveness of sin…it was incomplete bc animal sacrifice didnt change th hearts of men, so that men had to continue to offer sacrifice for their sin–bc they couldnt stop sinning…we see this cycle with OT israel…they sacrificed and were forgiven, yet they continued in sin…and so th old testament was fulfilled and done away wit — Jesus Christ (th true Israel of God) brought th New Covenant in His blood, which washes away sin, cleanses th sinner [ lepers cleansed –and healed]

God had promised to give a new heart, to remove th heart of stone [old man, th flesh satan works thru which is dead in sin and trespass] and give a heart of flesh [living flesh, not th old man which is born in sin, but Christ which is born sinless and never sinned]…Jesus Christ is th new flesh, th living heart of God which is given to each new creation, bc in Christ, while th old man is dead at the cross with Christ Jesus, being crucified with Him for our sin, there is a promised son, a new creation, and we are born of th Spirit of God, and enter into the family as sons, a fulfillment of th OT whereby only those born of isreal were included in th [old] covenant; but we who are born of th Spirit of God are now of the [new] covenant and are, by abraham’s seed [Jesus Christ] heirs according to th promise…

israel sins, as individuals and as a nation, God convicts them of their sin, and israel offers sacrifices, as individuals and as a nation, and God forgives em…. over and over and over throughout the OT, this same theme– sin, conviction, sacrifice and forgiveness…without th shedding of blood (of th sacrifice) there is no forgiveness of sin…bc of Christ Jesus, who is th power of God, animal sacrifice is no longer accepted and those outside of th covenant of God in th blood of Christ Jesus, are unforgiven and remain in their sin…

God was faithful to bring to pass eveyr promise He promised to OT israel…including giving them th land promised to them, as they crossed over th jordan river into canaan and took th land He promised em;  but they continued in sin, even in this new land of promise, and they lost that promised land much like adam lost th garden of eden in which God also placed him…OT israel was put outta th land and scattered among th nations…a fact often left unmentioned by those who insist that th land of modern israel is theirs by God’s provision, which is a lie…

but that they did inherit th land of canaan was a fulfillment–and a shadow also — of a greater promised land, th city which comes down from heaven, spiritual jerusalem, whose buildter and maker is God…

just as isaac was born as th son promised to abraham and was a shadow of th greater promised ‘seed of abraham’ which is Jesus Christ, who is th seed by which all nations on earth are blessed…

abraham got isaac by promise, which was evidence of a greater fulfillment of that promise; isreal crossed over into what was at that time, canaan, and tho they couldnt remain bc of thier sin and God Himself took them outta th promised land, that promise was fulfilled to them…and is a shadow of th greater promised land, new jerusalem, which comes down from God in heaven…not from beneath, not of th earth, but of God alone…

God came into the world in th form of a man…not a son of adam…but th last man, th second adam, th Son of God, Jesus Christ…this temple of th living God who no longer resides in temples built by human hands (adam) …He came to His own and His own received Him not…but all who are israel (born of th Spirit of God in Christ Jesus), come to Him as the gentiles come…by th drawing of the Father, and are grafted into the true vine, Jesus Christ, who is true Israel of God…

those who call themseles israel but are apart from Christ and so have no part in the covenant of God, do so as a woman who takes th name of a man who isnt her husband…as tho they are married, when they are not…they steal from God and call themselves by His name, but apart from Christ they are not His and have no right to His name…

whenever ppl steal what is God’s, they do so to gain something of th earth, land, money, fame, votes, whatever….in fact they cant gain anything more than temporal thangs bc their theft, while a political edge in th earth, but according to God is sin, comes from the unclean heart which is dead in sin and trespass, and is unrepentant, which results in death and destruction…in fact, modern israel is cut off from the true vine of God, th true Israel of God, Jesus Christ and has neither life nor hope of life…

All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out.  John 6:37

here is proof of a repentance that sticks…a new creation, given to Christ by th Father, we are planted in Him as He is planted in us…and this new creation does not sin bc God’s Spirit remains with Him, abides in us….Christ in us, th hope of glory…

apart from Christ we can do nothing…Jesus Christ fulfilled th law of God, th prophets of God and brings forgiveness–and repentance–to those who are cut off from th covenant and to those who never were of th covenant…

by th New Covenant in th blood of Jesus Christ, th lamb of God, th whole family of God–all israel–both jew [circumsized, but being been under th law, unable to keep th law] and gentile [uncircumcized, not under th law but who keep th law as its wrote on their hearts] are brought together, and enter into th family of God as brethren to inherit th Kingdom of God as co-heirs with Jesus Christ our brotha…

apart from the shedding of blood thre is no forgiveness of sin; apart from the Lamb of God as th only sacrifice sent and received by God, thre is not forgiveness of sin; and apart from th Father giving Christ (th new heart of flesh) and removing th old heart of stone (satan, th sin of th world) there is no forgiveness of sin…

unless a man be born of the Spirit [of God], He cannot enter into th Kingdom of God…

th old man, th living soul, is dead in trespass and sin; cruicifed with Christ and no longer lives…but the new creation is born of th Spirit of God by His will alone, and has not sinned, is not dead in trespass and sin and is alive in Christ…this new creation is filled with th Spirit of God as we now, new creations, are the temple of th Most High God…

and so th end of sin is come…Christ died once fa all…no more animal sacrifice…no more continuing in sin…th old is passed away, th new is come…and we walk in the newness of life and not after the flesh…and as we walk after the Spirit of God, we no longer fulfill th desires of th flesh…

Christ conquered sin and death once for all…there is no other sacrifice which God accepts and no other sacrifice coming…He is th beginning and the end, th alpha and th omega…

bc of Christ we ‘hate’  th iniquity which birthed & shaped th old man by our natural adamic families (if man dont hate his mother and father, etc, he isnt fit to enter into the kingdom of God) and caused us to respond to them and others according to that shaping, fulfilling th lusts and desires of th selfish, unclean heart…

love [of God which is in Christ Jesus] never fails…

we now walk in th newness of life, loving our brothas (in Christ) as well as our enemies, with th love of God that is now shed in our hearts by th indwelling Spirit of God…before our new birth, we could only remain in sin and continue in sin, as OT israel showed us…but we now are free to love with th love of God, not according to th adamic love perpetrated in adamic families and  natural bloodlines with its earthy allegiences and territories, but a new love, th true love of God, which is in Christ Jesus and which is shed abroad in our hearts…

th natural man cant receive th thangs of God…and so its impossible fa th natural man to love with God’s love bc th natural man remembers wrongs, is boastful, judges according to its own wilful desires and not th righteous judgement of God, and seeks its own in all thangs, including love, even at th expense of those it claims to loves…

th natural man is unforgiven, and so he cant forgive…apart from Christ there is no forgiveness of sin…but th new creation walks after th Spirit of God, not fulfilling th lusts of th flesh and th love of God, of which forgieness is part, is shed abroad in our hearts…

Jesus Christ has power on earth to forgive sin…

if anyone aks me fa 100 dollars, i couldnt give it even if i wanna give it…i dont have it…i cant give what i dont have…no matter how much i would wanna give it, its simply not there…

this is th dilemma that faces th world outside of Christ…they are constantly told they must forgive, bc satan is all about taking wht belongs to God and perverting it, and perverting th ppl he holds onto in th process..but they dont have any forgiveness to give…and so they struggle against th offenses they received…th hurt and sorrow and even long term detriment it left…so many actaully suffer, desiring to do what is ‘good’ by forgiving…so they can move on, be healed, so that unforgiveness which festers in em and can kill em (another of satan’s threats to terrorize)…but the offense remains, th hurt, th sorrow…all of it…it might abate or be lost in th events of time…but it isnt gone, not completely…and this is something most ppl dont know about th true forgiveness which is of God…

forgiveness of God, removes th offense completely and healing comes…there isnt any sorrow remaining which th Lord wont bring u thru and just as th Lord God is able to be in th presence of those who once were an offense to Him, we are able to be near those who once offended us….there is no sorrow in forgiveness, for either th offender or th offended…and this has to be known…bc too many ppl are tryna do what only God can do, and by doin it in their own strength (th arm of flesh) and not by th arm of God, thres no power of God…so that after every effort, th offense offender and offended remain frozen as it were, in their original positions toward each other…and nothing is changed…

does anyone know that unchecked sin, which is offense, gets bigger and stronger over time bc satan (workin in th flesh) will make it bigger…will cause it to be remembered down thru generations, as a memorial to past suffering, will caus it to be rehearsed and told over and over and over until children born years after offense are tainted and marked by its retelling and carry now a secondhand offense thats given to em, not by the enemies of their ancestors, but by their own people…smoke from a distant fire is still smoke and it stings th eyes and clouds one’s vision…

Jesus Christ has power on earth to forgive sin…and in that forgiveness is healing and restoration…God is reconciling th world back to Him by Jesus Christ, not by philosophy, self-help, religions, or whatever else ppl turn to when they are hurt and suffering…

if anyone be in Christ, He is a new creation, the old is passed th new is come…

th old man dont forgive sin…death reigns in th old man and fans th flame of offense until it burns into every last one born of th old man…old wars rage and continue on…old hatreds grow and are passed down thru the years and become as th hardened in sin as pharaoh was…th old man continues in sin, fulfilling th lusts of his stoney heart until he is brought to Christ or left to die in his sin…

th only thang that matters is a new creation…bc while forgiveness bring us into right relationship with our Father, God, repentance keeps us from walkin after th old nature, and sin no longer reigns over us…th new creation has a new life, a different life…and no memory of th offense, the offender or th suffering that ensued bc of it…th new creation walks in th newness of life…and we forgive as easily as it we wereforgiven, bc that forgiveness isnt coming from us but from th Father through us, pouring outta us as th water from heaven in earthen vessels…

its freely given to us and freely given through us…its not our work but the finished work of the cross and we CAN forgive bc we walk everyday in forgiveness, th newnewss of life of a new creation born of ht Spirit of God and not after th flesh…

and those whose offenses are forgiven…who are in Christ and walk after th Spirit and not after the flesh, no longer fulflling th lusts of th flesh…rest in Him…

every sin is against God, whther it be worked against man, men or countries…all have sinned and fell short of th glory of God…all have sinned….there are none innocent of sin except th Lamb of God, Jesus Christ who was born sinless and never sinned…

and know this:

Jesus Christ is th repentance of whatever face, race or flag th offender wore…

those who are born of th Spirit already know this and forgive by His power…those outside of Christ have never tasted th goodness of God that is Christ Jesus and dont know this…but even so, they might meet Him in you, who are forgiven of your sin against God, and so walk in th newness of life before them, that th power be of God and not of man…

i have more to share on this, but i gotta stop fa now…

Love that so much about how forgiveness comes from our heart of flesh, and we struggle with the flesh.. and if forgiveness is demanded of us, its been provided for us, amennnn…. God provides all that He demands of us… people see impossible and heavenly things (I think of the verse “be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect)… but God provides us with Christ, who fulfills this for us.. He says this, because this is what He will do in us. Love this! And indeed, our debt is beyond measure and the wages of it can only be death which Christ laid down His life for us.. but even as u wrote that the debt is so huge that it would take us so many lifetimes to repay it.. so it wasnt that one man died for us.. but it had to be Christ, and He fulfilled every commandment it was written to do, and imputed His righteousness upon us.

Another way of looking at the 10,000 talents: 10,000 talents approximates to 150,000 years wages which approximates to over 2,000 lifetimes! But what do we have? One lifetime. Can we hope to obtain more than 1 lifetime? Well, if a person believes in reincarnation maybe we could. Unfortunately for those who do believe that, the scriptures tell us that God has determined mankind to live and die once – and then the judgement. So, even if we lay down our life – our life can’t even come close to what we owe! It is so far beyond us to repay what we owe to God. It makes it so clear the absolute necessity of Jesus Christ if even one of the race of mankind was going to be saved.

This is wonderful. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in it’s simplicity and power. As I was reading I was wondering how anyone couldn’t understand what you wrote. It is as simple and as logical an explanation of the salvation of God I’ve ever read. But I do know that the world can only read and see it as foolishness.

James Jarjou and I discussed forgiveness in fb messages a few days ago. He sent me a wonderful post that dealt with unforgiving Christians. Forgiveness from the heart is demanded (it’s not a suggestion) of believers. Since it is, we know it’s possible. What James sent me had to do with the parable of the servant forgiven of 10,000 talents by the Master and then he went and demanded 100 talents owed to him by his fellow servant. I was sharing with James how I had researched trying to find out the value of 10,000 talents. And for that servant in that day it came out to about 150,000 years wages!!! 150,000 YEARS! In other words, he was forgiven of a debt he could never hope to repay and yet was unforgiving of a tiny debt owed to him by another. So the Master takes back His forgiveness, throws the servant in prison, and tells him he will stay there until every last talent is repaid.

We don’t forgive because it’s the right thing to do. We don’t forgive because we want to move past the wrong. We don’t forgive so that we can heal and feel better. We forgive because we ourselves have been forgiven a wrong we could never hope to repay. First of all, in light of the wrong we have been forgiven, nothing that can be done to us here on this earth could come close to the enormity of our wrong before a just and righteous God. It’s just like comparing 100 talents to 10,0000 talents. Secondly, when we don’t forgive we have judged that person (which is only the prerogative of God) and denied him the same mercy we were shown.

I have imagined the unforgiving servant’s account of what happened went something like this: I owed the Master so much I was never, ever going to be able to repay it. I begged and pleaded and so He forgave me the debt. I think that servant thought he had something to do in the achieving of that forgiveness. But was it because he begged or was it because the Master was merciful that he was forgiven.

I know that sometimes believers feel they struggle with forgiveness. I can remember sending you an email about something that had happened to me that caused me to feel hurt and angry. You sent me a lovely response telling me that all I’d received was a flesh wound. Wow!!! That was so awesome to read! That truth was liberating and I’ve never looked on forgiveness the same since. Because it’s just as you said: God’s forgiveness lives IN us in the person of Jesus Christ. That forgiveness for others comes directly from our heart of flesh – Jesus Christ. So we’re never struggling with forgiveness, we’re struggling with the flesh.

If forgiveness is demanded of us it’s been provided for us. “She who is forgiven much loves much.”
