guilt and innocence

first posted may 2007

man’s law say some are guilty (criminals) and some are innocent (victims). God makes no such claim. God says all are guilty, born in sin & shaped in iniquity; some receive mercy; the rest are hardened into eternal damnation. the same sun that melts wax hardens clay…the sun doesnt change to melt the wax or harden clay; in fact, the sun isnt the reason for the melting or the hardening…the melting & hardening lies in the nature of the wax and the earth…

man’s laws are purported to ‘protect the innocent’ and ‘punish the guilty’. but God’s law is the standard for all righteousness, a standard no man can achieve; a standard fulfilled only by Jesus Christ. God’s law isnt books upon books upon books of statutes written to counter the actions of ppl, God’s law actually testifies about His Own Holiness, not about man’s ability to live right. The law was given to man to show the standard of righteousneess tha God demands, which standard is His own righteousness…and to show man how far short he falls to meet that standard…

The world says, it’s unfair, unjust and unrighteous when innocent ppl suffer same as guilty ppl. Or that innocent ppl suffer because of the guilty. The world says, it’s unjust that guilty ppl prosper and are never punished. so theres endless arguments about God’s sovereignty and righteousness in the face of ‘evil’; endless discussions about whether God really is good, or how can He say He good when He allows evil to happen so innocent ppl die, suffer, grieve, etc. over & over God is brought before the judges of man’s laws, before the crooked court of man’s depraved heart, to defend His Righteousness, His goodness, His sovereignty — the same judges that demanded Jesus to defend hiself to pilate & herod…the depravity of a satan-ruled soul demanding God to bow down…

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

righteous judgement…this is the judgement according to the Word of God, not according to man’s ways…since God alone is Righteous…His judgement is not according to appearance but in Truth…in Righteousness…

sadly, many in the body of Christ mix the worldly standards of guilt & innocence with the truth of God’s sovereignty & righteousness. And see the world’s goings on as ‘tragic’ instead of evil — as though something else was suppose to happen; something that God coulda stopped but He didnt, cuz He gonna use it for His Glory. Or it was purposed by God Himself, to further His divine plan for mankind. neither of these doctrines come from a true understanding of God’s sovereignty. Whether u believe God causes evil to further His eternal plan (making God complicit in evil is against wat God say about Himself) or whether u believe that God isnt able to stop evil until ppl ‘come into agreement with God’ (making God impotent and a figurehead of justice that cant act unless directed by man’s will) — both these beliefs come from the mind of man and neither one reflects the true sovereignty of God or His purpose and Glory.

to say that God causes evil to prosper or uses evil to further His eternal purpose, goes against what He says about Himself:

theres no shadow in his turning…God is Holy…God cannot lie…God tempts no man…God is not the author of confusion…no flesh shall glory in His presence… God’s kingdom is not of this world…God hates sin…God is not with the wicked…the wrath of God abides on the wicked…God is not with the wicked or the proud…

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:13-14

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2

God has an eternal purpose for His ppl – the rest are already condemned. God doesnt EVER go against His Word. What is not of Him is evil –that is what evil means — and will perish. period. not because He merely allows it, as being complicit in the evil — but because His Word IS Truth (let there be light). there is only life in Christ. outside of Christ is death. Jesus said outside of him are whores and dogs; theres weeping and gnashing of teeth. did God create whores & dogs so His Word can be true? nope. His Word is already true and wat isnt of Him is a lie, darkness, death. what isnt of God is temporal and wont last. the wicked perish. God doesnt go against His Word. God’s Word is true: the wages of sin is death; the wicked perish and are no more; the end of all flesh has come before Him.

God doesnt use evil to promote His own purpose in the lives of His ppl. But even all evil must bow down to God. When ppl say they are serving god by killing, the god they serve is shatan; the god of death; the tree of the knowledge of good and evil–not the True & Living God. But God doesnt change the ways of the wicked or their end. God’s judgement is true and pure. Sin is sin. And the nature of sin isnt changed. Those who inherit eternal life are born from above, they are new creations; and nothing of the old life remains.

when noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, noah and his family were saved; the world was full of ppl at the same time noah lived, but God made his covenant with noah, not with man in general and noah and his family were saved; all others died in their sin…when God revealed Himself to the children of Israel in the old covenant, there were many other nations in the earth at the same time; but none of these knew God…these are a picture of God’s choice; God’s election. as God says, He will show mercy to whom He will show mercy…the choice is always His…

God sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, to fulfill ALL His plan & purpose in salvation…He was sinless, not-born-of-adam, perfect & without blemish, Lamb of God. evil isnt sufficient to bring men to repentance; Jesus Christ is God’s standard. it isnt sin that teaches us, Jesus Christ, who is sinless, is our master.  it isnt sin that brings us to salvation; sinners continue in sin unless the Lord brings them out. sin destroys us. God has to deliver and cleanse and heal us from the presence, dominion & effects of sin. Jesus Christ is the ONLY righteous one. Jesus Christ is the perfect Lamb of God.  Jesus Christ is the exact image and representation of God.  He never sinned. He rebuked evil; He healed the sick; He opened blind eyes & deaf ears, make lame walk and create new eyes. He cast out demons. He was without sin, and there was no deceit in His mouth — He was Holy. When He spoke, it was not a man speaking, but the Holy Spirit of God. and Jesus Christ never spoke against wat is of His Father. Jesus rebuked the storm in the sea. but Jesus never rebuked anything that came from the Father. Jesus is the fullness of God in the form of a man.  not born of adam. He had to take on (like puttin on a garment) the sin of the world (because no sin [satan] was found IN Him). the Lord told me, the Holy Spirit led jesus to the wilderness to be tempted of satan (sin of the world [pride of life, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh] & conquerin it [it is written…; Jesus Christ fulfilled all scripture (written)]) cuz there was no sin in Him to take him there (we are led astray by our own evil lusts & desires, but Jesus had none of that in Him).

God’s kingdom (sovereignty) is not of the world (not born in sin & shaped in iniquity). when sin was found IN lucifer, lucifer was cast outta heaven; outta the throne room; outta the presence of God. period. in the OT, ppl believe that evil and good both come from God. but God say He is pure light. not any darkness in Him. in genesis, there are 2 trees, separate from each other; one mixed (good & evil that brings death) and one that is pure (tree of life). the [mixed] tree of death was forbidden food (man ruled by shatan; the law of man). in the beginning of Job’s story, job say, shall we accept good from the Lord and not evil?  but in the end, Job says, I know my redeemer lives. a new revelation of God to job.

He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25

was Job redeemed by the one who condemned him? absolutely. the same Holy & Righteous God that judges sin is the same Holy & Righteous God that came in the form of a man to redeem sinners…was job redeemed by the one who brought the evil? nope. Jesus Christ is the fulnes of God. Jesus said to the disciples, ‘you have an adversary’.  you have an adversary, not, God is ur adversary. this was revelation, since in the OT, it was believed that good and evil both came from the same God. but even from the beginning God distinguishes between His character — who He is, and the character of satan…

satan is the god of this world. he rules in fallen adam. God knows where satan has his throne. God is separate from evil. completely separate. God is pure and Holy. unfortunatly, we study the book of job without seeing the great revelation of God to job…that God is creator, redeemer, sovereign, without being any part of evil. in the book of job, God said to satan…how did you get in here (my worst fear has come upon me [God doesnt give us a spirit of fear])?  in the garden of eden, God said to adam (they clothed themself [tryin to hide their shame; shame is a covering, not emotion] in leaves [the leaf is for the healing of nations] and hid themselves), where are u; who told u u are naked? sin entered into all of humanity thru one man, adam. sin was in job. already. born in sin shaped in iniquity. But when job lost everything he depended on, everything he –and all his friends– defined as his life, then he could see the God who redeemed him. God said to satan (the self/sin in job), consider my servant (Jesus Christ, the Son of God; the redeemer) job, and job found out his redeemer lives. Jesus Christ is the resurrection & the life; there is no other name by which a man can be saved.. in all that conversation, God was speakin to job. God’s servant is Jesus Christ, His only begotten son…

isaish said, in the year king uzziah died, i saw the Lord high & lifted up & His train filled the temple. when flesh dies, only when flesh dies, can the glory of God be revealed. no flesh shall glory in His presence. job lost his earthly life, everything tha made him what and who he was; & found his redeemer (jesus said, whoever loses his life in this world for my sake, shall keep it to eternity), & that was job’s double blessing.  maybe we got some stuff  we believe is from God or of God’s kingdom, that isnt. And since its not from God, it isnt part of His righteousness. and when we lose it, we say, the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. but the truth is, what is caesar’s is caesar’s and what is God’s is God’s. Jesus brought this revelation also, to give to caesar what is caesars and to God what is God’s…God says, no man can take what belongs to Him outta His hands (God told satan to dont touch job’s life [what belongs to God is God’s and no man can take it]). it was not God that destroyed job; in fact, God told satan he couldnt touch job’s life (wat belong to God).

What does God say about satan?  that he’s a thief & liar & theres no truth in him; when he lies he speaks his own language cuz he a liar and the father of it; that he’s a murderer and he was a murderer from the first. so why is wat comes from satan, attributed to God? because men are bound to the tree of good and evil (yeast of the pharisees; religion; man’s laws; callin good evil and evil good; mixture; confusion), born in sin and shaped in iniquity, and can’t know the true & living God outside of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the complete, express & perfect image of God. God came into the world in the form of a man — Jesus Christ. The Word (not words) became flesh and lived among us. Jesus Christ is the only righteous one, born without sin (not a son of adam) and no deciet (lie) was in his mouth. the Word of God is Jesus Christ, not words (languages of man) used to describe God. Jesus Christ said the scriptures testify about Him; if it dont testify about Jesus Christ, its NOT scripture. to receive the Word of God means to receive HIM. to know the Word of God means to know HIM. Jesus Christ is the Seed (not seeds) of Abraham; the promised Son (from God not from abraham). Whoever has the Son has life; whoever dont have the Son dont have life.

David worked much evil (born in sin shaped in iniquity) concerning bathsheba & uriah. and in the end, he married her and together they bore solomon. But bathseba is never once called david’s wife. she is always called bathseba, the wife of uriah the hitite. was God with david? aha. did God bless david? aha. did God go along wit everything david desired…nope. God said a king wasnt supposed to number wifes to himself. And God wont go against His Word. Jesus Christ is the King that dont number wifes to Himself; Jesus Christ has one bride — the bride of Christ…Jesus Christ is the true King. God isnt complicit in evil. there isnt any shadow in Him. He is pure holy and righteous. always. regardless of the evil men perpetrate against each other. regardless of the sin that abounds in this world that is ruled by satan. regardless of the harvest of evil that comes when the season of ‘enjoyin the pleasure of sin’ is ended. God is good and holy and pure. and sovereign. He is sovereing because He is the first and the last and eternal. He is sovereign because He is the great I AM. He always was and always will be.  He is sovereign because He is not created. He IS. He is God and there is none like Him. He is sovereign because He is Holy, completely unchanging and unchanged. God is sovereign becaue He alone is able to judge and rule over all without being tainted by his creation…whereas man is tainted by sin, being a sinner and born in sin, and cant remove himself from sin far enough to judge righteous judgement…satan is but a mere creation that went bad; satan was thrown outta heaven (fell to earth). Evil is completely without (as the opposite of within) of God. evil is no light; not pure; not holy; completely outside of God.

does God limit evil? aha. God told satan he gonna crawl on his belly and eat dust all his days; in other words, he never gonna feed on what is of God (Holy Spirit; bread of life, living water).  satan never goona eat from the tree of life…

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things… Philippians 3:19

Satan cant consume whats God’s. satan’s food is dust (fallen adam without the water of the Word of God; clouds without rain [lacking judgement; without the Holy Spirit]) but we are the called of God, chosen to know Him, to be in His presence, to eat from the tree of life — our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. satan feeds on anytihng thats not of God; but God’s ppl feed on what is OF God. satan devours (gnashing of teeth) but God feeds who are His. God doesnt feed on us, God feeds us.

if u believe that God is somehow involved wit the evil in this world as though he could have or should have stopped it, then u gotta also decide which evil is from him and which isnt. for instance, God said to dont kill. thats part of the perfect Law of God, God’s perfect righteousness which Jesus Christ fulfilled. man’s laws have degrees of killing and wanna decide which killin is good and which killin is evil. the mind of man goes on a whole journey debatin motives and purposes and ends and ways. but God dont make such distinctions. God say to dont kill.  So — which ppl who kill are of God and which ppl who kill are not from God?  God declared what sin is and its effect and reward…

keep in mind that Jesus Christ is the righteousness of God and He alone is righteous. and keep also that Jesus Christ didnt get involved wit the political and social stuff of the times (temporal and not eternal), but remained focused on the Father’s Will, to finish it. tryin to decide wats good or wats evil, is same as eatin from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. its impure and not righteous and any answer u come up with that is not ‘Jesus Christ the righteousness of God’, is purely an invention of man’s mind tryin to understand (callin good evil and evil good) the stuff in this world.

adam wasnt created to know his place in his environment; he wasnt created to have to decide between good and evil. he wasnt created to take part in the life of his own flesh. adam was created to know God. period. but once he sinned, he was left to make his own way (many are the ways that seem right to a man) in a brutal world (outside of God; adam died) ruled by shatan, to feed satan (self), to actually become (outside of Christ is weeping) satan’s food (gnashing of teeth; eat dust). adam didnt know good from evil, adam only knew God. once he lost God, he died. God told adam, if he ate from that tree he would die. adam ate and died. God didnt stop him from eatin or from dyin. to do either would mean God go against His Own Word.  did God cause death? nope. death entered in by sin. death (the earth was empty and void; and darkness — false light –was over the deep) is the complete lack of God; God is life. there is only life because God gives it (adam didnt live until God breathed into him). death is outside of God. completely outside of God. we who know the Lord, who are called into His presence, dont have to figure it out. we dont have to decied if somethings good or evil. we only have to follow the Lord; to delight ourself in Him. to know Him and seek Him with all our heart, strength, mind. to be His completely.

Jesus Christ is the righteousness of God. He fullfilled the law (of God) and the prophets (of God). he laid down His life (unto death) to take it up (resurrection) again. the Lamb that God sent was accepted by God.  the Word of God doesnt return to Him void, but does all its sent to do. Jesus Christ was sent, and returned and did all He was sent to do, to finish the work of God His Father, to fulfill the law & prophets. God with us. Jesus Christ is the First & the Last (Word & revelation; author & finisher), beginning & end (ancient of days & last day; creator & judge), alpha & omega (wat is written; all scripture; complete law & prophecy of God). there is none before Him and none after Him. The Word came in the form of a man — Jesus Christ.

in God’s world, theres none innocent except Jesus Christ; born without sin, no deceit in His mouth; Holy One of Israel, Lamb of God. to decide of something is from satan or from God by determining the innocence or guilt of involved persons, isnt righteous judgement. and theres no healin in lies. if we continue to see evil as something God could have stopped but didnt, then we don’t understand that God’s judgement of evil is final and not changing and more, that God is unchanged. if we see evil as something God created or uses to ‘bring us to repentance’, then we cant see the righteousness of Jesus Christ, who is God, the perfect, sinless lamb of God. Evil (backward ‘live’) is sin nature of man. But Jesus Christ conquered sin & death. God dont ‘control’; God is author, sovereing, ruler, above all (control is principle of witchcraft; God doesnt control. He is & is in Authority; He is sovereign). Evil dont come from God and cant reach God; but its boundaries are set by God.

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. Job 14:4

Jesus Christ conquered sin & death. Suffereing is part of this world becasue God’s kingdom isnt of this world. Jesus said yall gonna have tribulation in this world, but be encouraged, for I overcame the world. He didnt say, u gonna suffer if u guilty, or suffer cuz someone else is guilty. he say u gonna have tribulation in this world. sin is sin. children are molested for the same reason ppl do drugs, for the same reason ppl spend their lives buyin stuff, for the same reason ppl invent political answers to try to change the effect of sin in the world, for the same reason doctors attempt to defy death, for the same reason ppl kill. The utter depravity of man’s heart is incomprehensible. ppl talk about crime, criminals, issues, problems, mistakes, etc. God calls it sin. God say the heart, above all things is deceiftul, desperately wicked; who can know it. so when despeerately wicked-hearted ppl insist they can create some order and modify the behaviors of a depraved heart, they are decieved & dont see as God says man really is — desperately wicked. God is not satan; but satan is the god of this world.  and he is the god who rules over all those who lie, steal, kill, and do all manner of evil and rise up and against the knowledge of God. whoever sins is the slave of sin…

Can you draw out leviathan with a hook? or his tongue with a cord which you let down? Can you put a hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Will he make many supplications to you? will he speak soft words to you? Will he make a covenant with you? will you take him for a servant for ever? Will you play with him as with a bird? or will you bind him for your maidens? Shall the companions make a banquet of him (but Jesus said to eat His body and drink His blood)? shall they part him among the merchants (but they parted Jesus Christ’s clothes among them; Jesus broke the bread and gave it to his disciples)? Can you fill his skin with barbed irons (but jesus christ was scourged for us)? or his head with fish spears (but jesus Christ was crowned with thorns)? Lay your hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more (but the woman who touched Jesus’ garment was made whole). Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him (but Jesus Christ raised the dead)? None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? Who has prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.  His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. By his neesings a light does shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Out of his nostrils goes smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.  His breath kindles coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth. In his neck remains strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. When he raises up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. The sword of him that lays at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. He esteems iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. Darts are counted as stubble: he laughs at the shaking of a spear. Sharp stones are under him: he spreads sharp pointed things upon the mire. He makes the deep to boil like a pot: he makes the sea like a pot of ointment. He makes a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary. Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. He beholds all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride. Job 41:1-34

what would a man do who is desperatley wicked?  if he is hungry and cant stop his hunger? if he cant satisfy the rage in his own soul?  if he blames the brevity or lack in his life on someone else? if he is offended and not healed? if he cant quench the desires of his reprobate mind or silence the tormenter that rules over him?  what does a desperately wicked heart look like?  it looks exactly like the world we in right now, in all its flavors and outrages. it plots and prowls and lurks and seeks an end to its unending torment. all are born in sin and shaped in iniquity. when we see the world, we see the god of this world in action…sin, suffering, death and destruction…

Apart from Jesus Christ the Son of God, there is no peace.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
